The Summer Bucket List - Part Deux

Well, I must admit that I am rather proud of myself. I have regained control of my facebook addiction (my husband's opinion does not count in this matter!) and have actually been somewhat productive so far this summer! I decided that it was time to update the summer bucket list! Here goes....

Summer 2011: Bucket List

1. Find raffle items for JWA's interest meeting. 
2. Create slide-show for said interest meeting. 
3. Line up guest speakers for interest meeting. 
4. Start on website/blog for classroom. 
5. Have the window treatments for the kitchen made.

                                                           

6.Finish painting the trim in "man-cave." (Am I the only one who thinks it's unfair that I am having to work on the "man-cave"? HAHA! Just joking! I don't mind!)

7.Take a sewing class. 

8. Create/sew throw pillows for guest room.  

9.Attend the yoga class at the gym.  **This was the longest hour of my life. Just imagine a very uncoordinated white girl in some very compromising positions. NOT COOL! Also, I thought yoga was all about stretching, breathing, and relaxing! Uhm.... anyway, I'll probably go  back.  

9. Organize ALL closets. 

10. Decide on a new wall color for the office (Pumpkin Pie has to go PRONTO!!!).  

11. Obedience training for the pups. 

12. Relax!!!! (I think I have this one under control!!)

The bucket list is looking promising!  I promised you guys a special surprise today! Well... not only did Jeremy and I finish the trim in the bonus room.... we finished the WHOLE thing! This is a big deal in the Davis house because we have been working on this room since Christmas. In fact, we have been working on it for so long that I do not remember which camera I took the "before" pictures on. So, I'll owe you a post on that! What do you think? 

Now, I need to get to work on furniture and accessories. Our motto here in the Davis house is "Rome, wasn't built in a day!" So, I'll take my sweet time and wait until we find pieces that we REALLY love! Have a great day!

Monday Musings... on Tuesday!

 

I hope that everyone had a fun and relaxing July 4th weekend!!

I also hope that you remembered to take pictures of your awesome weekend, as I have been TERRIBLE about that lately! Anyway, Jeremy & I have been gearing up for an eventful week. We are having some more work done on our home starting tomorrow in preparation of having our hardwoods refinished next week while we are on vacation. I am super excited about that!!! :)

PS: Can you BELIEVE the Casey Anthony verdict? I must admit that I have not been an avid follower, but really.... I am shocked!
